The March Update
What's new?
- Last month I was able to get down to the palm trees, sunshine and turquoise waters of the Fl West Coast. We had a wonderful visit with treasured family and got to recharge the batteries in prep for a busy spring market!
- Feb in the real estate market was crazy busy with huge buyer demand and minimal inventory. Houses hitting the market that are priced right are gone quickly and in multi-bid in most cases.
- We are getting closer to digging the 1st foundation at the new Gracey Estates subdivision in Taunton. Exciting!
Bristol & Plymouth County homes had 20% less listings taken as well as roughly 15-20% less listings sold in Jan while appreciation remains up and days on market are far less.
In other words...
The housing market in both counties has exploded in demand since Jan as inventory remains significantly down from last year. Prices are up 6-12% over LY and homes are selling a lot quicker than LY keeping it a seller market. For sellers, the market conditions are extremely strong with prices still appreciating over LY with fair priced homes selling FAAAST. For buyers, it is still the best opportunity to buy before the further explosion of the spring market. If interest rates decrease even more buyers will enter the pool!
