What's New?
- We visited our daughter in Ashfield, MA which is a beautiful small, rural town and attended their Fall Festival which is a must do for your fall calendar, if you've never been.
- Professionally, October was a big month receiving my SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) along with the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) Realtor designations.
- We are getting ready to close on our first home in Gracey Estates in November. Exciting to get this new neighborhood officially on the map!
The Real Estate Market at a Glance
Bristol County, MA homes sell for 12% more in September 2024, despite a slight dip in sales
In other words... The Bristol County housing market remains competitive, with prices up 12% year-over-year. While sales have slowed slightly, homes are still selling relatively quickly, meaning it's still a seller's market and in a lot of cases multi-bids still happening. Buyers may find it is still challenging to secure a home. However, with current rates it will be easier now than when rates drop.
Plymouth County, MA housing market remains competitive in September 2024
In other words... The Plymouth County housing market continues to favor sellers. While sales have increased slightly, home prices have risen by 12.3% year-over-year, reaching a median price of $624K. This upward trend, coupled with relatively quick sale times (22 days on average), makes it challenging for buyers. Sellers benefit from strong demand and increasing property values.
