The September Market at a Glance
In other words...
The housing market in Bristol and Plymouth County, remained somewhat stagnant in August, with prices climbing less than 1% over July. The number of homes sold was down in Bristol while up slightly in Plymouth County. We have some inventory increases over this last month as compared to earlier in the year in both towns but lack of inventory in previous months led to the decrease in Bristol County. While August is traditionally a slower month, listings should be heating up with the arrival of September, slightly lower interest rates will contribute to a strong buyer demand this fall.
